This garden retreat is a celebration of raw textures and geometric forms, characterized by a distinctive grey brick facade and sweeping arched rooflines that blend naturally with the landscape. The interiors are defined by dramatic exposed brick barrel vaults and raw concrete ceilings, warmed by earthy ochre walls and natural cane furniture. At its heart lies a serene courtyard with a floating staircase and water feature, seamlessly connecting the sheltered living spaces with the lush outdoors.
Suvi Farms: A Courtyard Home of Earthy Elegance
The design narrative for this residence is built around the timeless strength of masonry, utilizing exposed brick barrel vaults to create a dramatic structural rhythm that defines both the exterior silhouette and the interior volume. We contrasted this heavy architectural form with a raw, tactile material palette, pairing cool industrial concrete ceilings with warm ochre lime plaster to strike a balance between modern minimalism and rustic warmth. The layout turns inward to celebrate the outdoors, centered around a tranquil courtyard with a water feature and floating staircase that acts as the home's "lungs," ensuring light, air, and garden views penetrate every corner of the living space.
